By installing and using the UpLayer Chrome extension ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, do not install or use UpLayer.

2. License Grant

We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use UpLayer for personal or business purposes. This license is limited to transforming and uploading files from cloud storage services to websites of your choice.

3. Restrictions

You agree not to:

  • • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive the source code of UpLayer
  • • Use UpLayer to transform, upload, or distribute illegal, malicious, or harmful content
  • • Use UpLayer to infringe on intellectual property rights or violate laws
  • • Attempt to modify, bypass, or circumvent UpLayer's functionality
  • • Share your access to UpLayer with unauthorized third parties

4. File Processing

UpLayer processes files locally in your browser. We do not store, transmit, or access your files or metadata. All file transformations (resizing, compressing, redacting, etc.) are performed exclusively on your device.

5. User Responsibility

You are responsible for ensuring that files you upload comply with all applicable laws and do not infringe on third-party rights. UpLayer is provided as a transformation tool; we do not control where or how files are uploaded after transformation.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

UpLayer is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that UpLayer will be error-free, uninterrupted, or meet your specific needs.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, UpLayer's creators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.

8. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Use at any time. Continued use of UpLayer after modifications constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.

9. Termination

We may terminate your access to UpLayer at any time if we believe you are violating these terms or applicable laws. Upon termination, you must uninstall UpLayer and cease all use.

10. Governing Law

These Terms of Use are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
